In order for an instructor to be effective one must be knowledgeable in regard to technology and must be able to implement it one's classroom. In order to demonstrate knowledge and skills related to learning using technology one must research to find technology that best suit the needs of one's students. Activity: I do, we do, you do Teacher will demonstrate how to properly take Cornell Notes on BrainPop.com. After the teacher has instructed the class in whole group students are divided up into partners and given a handout and must create Cornell Notes on BrainPop.com. Lastly students will select their topic for research of the three women behind Hidden Figures by explaining the impact they had while at NASA. Students will take their research and add it to BrainPop as Cornell Notes. This activity exhibits that emerging and instructional technologies are being used. The instructor is using a laptop, Benque and the website BrainPop to create an interactive document. In addition, each student will have access to chromebooks daily to complete their research as well as explanatory essay.
